The rate of change of Velocity is termed as accelaration. If the velocity of object is changing by equal amount then the acceleration of object is uniform but what will happen if it is moving with variable acceleration i.e. The average acceleration a over the velocity of object is not changing by equal amount and in that case, we calculate the average acceleration. The average acceleration ā over a time interval is defined the change of velocity divided by the time interval in which that change occurred.
