Acceleration is the change in velocity in unit time.....
Acceleration is denoted with a.
a = v-u/t

\underline\bold{Acceleration:-}

》Acceleration is seen in non-uniform motion & it can be defined as the rate of change of velocity with time.

》Acceleration (a) = change in velocity / time

=> v - u / t

Where v is the final velocity & u is the initial velocity.

☆ If v > u , a is positive

SI unit of acceleration is meter / second ( m /s)

Now , what is \underline\bold{Deacceleration?}

》Deacceleration or retardation is seen in non-uniform motion during decrease in velocity with time. It has some definition as acceleration.

Deacceleration = change in velocity / time

☆ If v< u , a is negative
