The accommodation reflex of our eye better known as accommodation-convergence reflex is a reflex action of human eye, in the response when we focus on an object nearby and then look at a distance and vice versa.

It actually comprises the coordinated changes in vergence, lens shape and pupil size. This activity of the eye is dependent on cranial nerve II, superior centers and cranial nerve III.

The ciliary muscles help and control the change in the shape of the lens of our eye

the power of accomodation of of eye is generally the ability of lens of eye to make it self thick or thin in order to adjust the focal length and make the visibility possibly clearer.
