Acids are those substances which when released in water give h+ ions For example÷ When HCl will break down it will break into H+ and Cl- ions Henxe it gives H+ ions. Therefore it is an acid Some other acids are÷ HNO3, H2SO4 etc.

All acids contains hydrogen atoms in their molecule whch can be released in water.

an acid is a compounds which releases positive hydrogen ions when dissolved in water..

for example-DISSOCIATion of hydrochloric acid in water to form hydrogen ions and chloride ion..
