HEYA ❤️❤️❤️

your answer is______________________

An acid is a chemical species that donates protons or hydrogen ions and/or accepts electrons. Most acids contain a hydrogen atom bonded that can release (dissociate) to yield a cation and anion in water. The higher the concentration of hydrogen ions produced by an acid, the higher its acidity and the lower the pH of the solution.

Heya !!!

The word acid is derived from acidus means sour . It means the group of chemical compound which are sour in taste are acids.

Almost all the acids contain hydrogen that they can release in water.

Acids releases positive Hydrogen ion in water.

For example - Dissociation of HCl gives positive H ion and negative Cl ion .
