An acid is a chemical species that donates proton or hydrogen ions and/or accept electrons. Most acids contain hydrogen atom bonded that can release (dissociate) to yield a cation and anion in water.

TYPES OF ACIDS ARE:-

1. STRONG ACID :- Hydrochloric acid,sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid,nitric acid.

2. Weak acid:- Carbonic acid,acetic acid,oxalic acid,citric acid,hydrofluoric acid.
