Acid Gas is a classification of natural gas which contains mixtures of impurities in significant quantities making the gas acidic.

Acis gas is a particular typology of natural gas mixture containing significant quantities of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, or similar acidic gases. The term acid gas and sour gas are often incorrectly treated as synonym.
