When rain falls onto the Earth, due to the polluted air, the water gets mixed with the harmful chemicals such as carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and other chlorofluorocarbons. This polluted rain, when falls on the Earth, harms the lifeforms as well as architectural structures of an area. This is called ACID RAIN
