Gases such as SO2 and NO2 released into atmosphere by humans may cause acid rains..as they mix up with the rain water and forms Sulphuric acid and nitric acid causing acid rains
Acid rains damages plants in severe way as so much of natural vegetation gets affected and humans are also affected.
Corrosion of building and monuments occurs due to acidic pH of these rains
Metal smelting and forest fires, burning of fossil fuels are main reasons for emission of SO2 and NO2 causing acid rains..
