harmful oxides of nitrogen & sulphur combine & react with water vapours,oxygen & other gases in atmosphere & fall on the earth along with rain as ACID RAIN

when sulpur dioxide and carbon dioxide goes and mixes with water vapour they become sulphuric acid and carbonic acid. they flow down with rain which is called acid rain.
