Rain water is the purest form of water. It is the result of air pollution. When rain come to the earth surface it mix with nitrogen oxide and sulpur dioxide and become acidic. This water is known as acidic rain.

When the amount of acid content in water increase above 5.5 ph then the water turns acidic. Causing several problems to aquatic plants and animals. Even it cause problems to other consumers of this water. This is known as acid rain
