It is generally the first rain of the season which contain several pollutants present in air.the pollutants which are present in air comes with the raindrops to the earth and have any harmful effects on the organisms.

acid rain causes many skin diseases
it also cause the water pollution

The rain containing excess of acids is called acid rain. Rain becomes acidic because carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide which are released into air as pollutants dissolve in rain drops to form carbonic acid, sulphuric acid and nitric acid respectively.

Acid rain damages buildings, historical monuments and affects 3the ecological balance of plants and animals.
