Rainfall made so acidic by atmospheric
Pollution that it causes environment harm,chiefly lakes and forests.The main cause is industrial burn and their fossil fuels,the harmful gases containing sulphur and nitrogen oxide

A rain in which the precipitation is usually acidic is known as acid rain. It is caused by the emission of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, which react with water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acid.
