Active voice - The sentence in which the person who does the work or in other words the doer comes first. eg: Rahul inaugurated the auditorium.

Passive voice - The sentence in which the work done by the speaker/ doer comes before the speaker/ doer. eg: The inauguration of the auditorium was done by Rahul.
