Electronic Circuits/Transistor Active Mode conditions. Typically we want to have a transistor to operate in what is called active mode. Active mode is when the Base-Emitter junction is forward biased and the Base-Collector Junction is Reverse biased.

ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS/TRANSISTOR ACTIVE MODE CONDITIONS. TYPICALLY WE WANT TO HAVE A TRANSISTOR TO OPERATE IN WHAT IS CALLED ACTIVE MODE. ACTIVE MODE IS WHEN THE BASE-EMITTER JUNCTION IS FORWARD BIASED AND THE BASE-COLLECTOR JUNCTION IS REVERSE BIASED.
