What is Active Voice

Hi friend!
A sentence in which the doer of the action is mentioned first is Active voice.
Whereas, a sentence where the thing or body with which the action is being done is Passive voice.
E. g.:
1) "Ram is playing cricket." Here, 'Ram' is the doer of the action and is the subject of the sentence. This sentence is in Active voice.
2) "Cricket is being played by Ram." Here 'Ram' comes as the object. It is in Passive voice.
A very common misunderstanding between Active and Passive voice that almost everyone has, even I had before, is:
In Active voice the subject comes first and the object, afterwards and in Passive,, the object comes first and subject, later.
This misconception is wrong. In every sentence, subject only comes first and object later. The format for any sentence in English language is Subject-Verb-Object.
The actual thing is, in Active voice the doer or the performer of the action in the sentence is focused on or, in simpler words, it comes first. And in Passive, the action noun, I mean, the object in the ACTIVE voice comes first. In other words, the doer of the action is not given much importance at the starting of the sentence.
That was all I wanted to make clear to everybody who believes in this misconception.
Hope you found my answer useful. Keep Smiling! Hari Om!

Answer:
There are two ways of conveying meaning in a sentence while speaking or writing - active voice and passive voice.
In the Active voice, The focus is on the doer or the person who is doing the action.
In the Passive voice, The focus is on the receiver the person or thing to which the action is done.
In a sentence in the active voice, the subject performs the action and object receives it.
