HEY MATE!

In males, Adam's apple is the protruding part of the throat.

During puberty, the larynx grows larger and is known as Adam's apple.

However in females, the larynx is of small size and is hardly visible.

HOPE IT HELPS!

Hey mate here is your answer》》

The Adam's apple, in conjunction with the thyroid cartilage which forms it, helps protect the walls and the frontal part of the larynx, including the vocal cords (which are located directly behind it). Another function of the Adam's apple is related to the deepening of the voice.

Hope this answer will help you..《《
