Adaption is a dynamicevolutionary process that fits organism to their environment. in simple word the special characteristics that enables plants and animals to be sucessful in a particular environment is called adaption.
1. cactus take advantage of light rainfall by having roots close to the soil surface.
2. camels have thick coat of hair that protect them from the sun.they have wide ,soft feet so they can walk for a long time in the hot sand. and they have dump like structure on their back of the body in which it store water for its survival.
3. Fish have a stream lined body that reduce water resistance while swimming.fish have gills for breathing oxygen in water.
