Answer:

Adaptation is a biological mechanism in which an organism adjusts itself according to the weather and other environmental conditions.

1.

Cacti have roots closer to the ground to absorb the maximum amount of water. Cacti have leaves in the form of spines for the minimum water evaporation. Also, the spines keep the omnivores and herbivore away from cacti.

2.

Camels have adapted themselves for dessert areas by storing fats into their humps that give them energy for many days. They also have two toes that provide a, larger surface area to walk on sand. Furthermore, they have long eyelashes that help them to keep the bugs away and bear extreme sunlight.

3.

Fish have stream-lined bodies that help them to cut the water and bear water resistance. They also have gills to breathe easily in water.

Camels are well adapted for survival in the desert. Their adaptations include: large, flat feet - to spread their weight on the sand. thick fur on the top of the body for shade, and thin fur elsewhere to allow easy heat loss.

A camel is adapted to the desert environment whereas a fish is adapted to live in water. Adaptation to a habitat does not take place in a short time. Over thousands of years, the abiotic factors of a region change.
