1) Camels are well adapted for survival in the desert. Their adaptations include: large, flat feet - to spread their weight on the sand. thick fur on the top of the body for shade, and thin fur elsewhere to allow easy heat loss.

2) All living organisms share several key characteristics or functions: order, sensitivity or response to the environment, reproduction, growth and development, regulation, homeostasis, and energy processing. When viewed together, these characteristics serve to define life.
