Additive Identity :

It is a property that says ; when a number ; let's say a is added to a number ; must give the sum as a i.e number itself.

So , we know that any number added to zero ; the sum or the Addition is always the number itself. So the additive Identity of all numbers is 0.

Eg :

  • 2 + ? = 2

=> 2 + 0 = 2

  • 5 + ? = 5

=> 5 + 0 = 5

Following the same information above ; we can conclude that zero is the additive Identity of (-150).

As :

-150 + 0 = (-150)
