Additive inverse is the reciprocal of a number. If we add the additive inverse of a number with the original number then the result is 0. Such as the additive inverse of 1 is -1.

THE CHANGING THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE SIGN

IT MEANS THAT IF THERE IS POSITIVE NUMBER, THE ADDITIVE INVERSE OF THAT NUMBER WILL HAVE THE SAME NUMBER, BUT NEGATIVE SIGN.

AND NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE WITH SAME RULE.
