Additive inverse means - to + and +to - .

We can say it as -a

For example:

Additive inverse of 2

Here 2 is a

So we can write it as -2

Therefore 2 additive inverse is -2

Let us take another example

Additive inverse of -2

Here -2 is a

So we can write it as -(-2)

-×- is nothing but +

So additive inverse of -2 is 2

Multiplicative inverse means b/a

Let us take an example

Multiplicative inverse of 2/3 is 3/2

Let us take another example

Multiplicative inverse of -2/3 is -3/2.

Hope it helps you ✌✌

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Additive inverse of a number is either the negative form of a positive integer or the positive form of a negative integer.

Eg additive inverse of 4 is -4

additive inverse of 3 is -3

additive inverse of 2 is -2

additive inverse of 6 is -6

additive inverse of 5 is -5

additive inverse of 44 is -44

Whereas, multiplicative inverse is the number with which a given number is multiplied so that the resultant is 1.

eg   multiplicative inverse of 1 is 1

multiplicative inverse of 2 is 1/2

       multiplicative inverse 0f 3 is 1/3

multiplicative inverse of 4 is 1/4
