  • Adjective is the word which gives the additional information about the noun or pronoun.
  • It is the additional information like quality or a kind or the quantity about the subject.

Some of the type of adjectives are:

1. Descriptive adjective:

  • This adjective describes the characteristics of the noun.
  • It refers the size or color or shape of noun and etc,.

For ex:

The Sandeep's car is red in colour.

Here the colour of the sandeep's car is described.

2. Demonstrative adjective:

  • This form of adjective gives the answer for the question word of "Which one".
  • It will describes a particular noun.

For ex:

Breefa bought that watch for Pravin.

Here, "that" refers the particulat watch that Breefa bought for Pravin.

3. Possessive adjective:

  • This type of adjective describes the ownership.
  • Those adjectives are my, her, his, and our etc,.

For ex:

Saranya lost her identity card.

Here, the words "her book" refers to the whose identity card was lost.
