Answer: adjective-it is a part of speech that describes something

there are 3 degrees of adjective

1-positive

2-comparative

3-superlative

positive-The positive form is used in cases where there are no differences between the two compared things or persons. To form the positive, we use the word as before and after the positive form of the adjective. ex-She is as beautiful as her older sister.

comparative-When two objects or persons are being compared, the comparative form of the adjective is used. ex-My essay is longer than yours.

superlative-The superlative is used to say what thing or person has the most of a particular quality within a group or of its kind. ex-The biggest table in the room.

Answer:

Adjective is a word naming an attribute of a noun for example; any colour, tastes etc...

Degrees of comparison are used when we compare one person or one thing with another. They are of three types :

1. Positive degree...No changes in the adjective...Ex: Beautiful, big

2. Comparative degree..."More" is added before for some adjectives Ex: More beautiful or "ER" is added at the end of the adjective...Ex: bigger

3. Superlative degree... "MOST" is added before for some adjectives Ex: Most beautiful or "EST" is added at the end of the adjective...Ex: biggest
