Adjective is a describing word. It helps and stands as a support to the noun, where it gives us more information regarding the noun.

For example: I have an apple.

Here, apple is the noun. But nothing is told about the apple.

Whereas, I have a big, red and juicy apple. Here we use words like big, red and juicy to describe the noun, apple. Hence, the words used here are adjectives.

Hope that helps you !!
