What is adrenal gland?

The adrenal glands are like caps above the Kidneys. each adrenal gland consist of two parts. They are Central medulla and peripheral cortex. Adrenal medulla secretes adrenaline while adrenal cortex secretes cortisone which suppresses inflammation.
