here's the answer to your question

⬇⬇⬇

Adsorption is the process in which a fluid is dissolved by a liquid or a solid which is known as adsorbent.
Adsorption is the process in which atoms , ions or molecules from a substance ( it could be gas , liquid or dissolved solid ) adhere to the surface of the adsorbent.
The absorption of a liquid , gas or other substance is the process of it being soaked up or taken up.

\underline\bold\blue{ADSORPTION<br />VS ABSORPTION}

• Phenomenon :-

♣Absorption :-

It is a bulk phenomenon.

♣ Adsorption :-

It is a surface phenomenon.

• Heat exchange

♣ Absorption :-

It is an endothermic process.

♣ Adsorption :-

It is an exothermic process.

• Temperature :-

♣ Absorption :-

It is not affected by temperature.

♣ Adsorption :-

It is affected by low temperature.

• Rate of reaction :-

♣ Absorption :-

It occurs at a uniform rate.

♣ Adsorption :-

It steadily increases and reaches the equilibrium.

• Concentration :-

♣ Absorption:-

It is same throughout the material.

♣ Adsorption :-

Concentration on the surface of adsorbent is different than that in the bulk.
