Advantages of commerce - you and me are able to talk on devices and systems , purchase stuff that we like, and sell things if we find business more interesting.

Disadvantages - if you think consumerism is bad, then that is one of the disadvantageous contributions . Globalisation is another, rich people found loopholes commerce which made them richer if that is a bad thing.

Personally, I feel Commerce is good,since it gave us humans more opportunities to advance ourselves as a race.
