Declarative or Affirmative statement is a sentence used to "declare" or "state" something as how it seems to be.

For Eg : Ravi eats a sandwich.

This is a declarative statement as it "declares" that Ravi eats a sandwich.

Affirmative sentence is usually contrasted with the negative sentence....

In the negative sentences, we use not...

but in an affirmative sentence we make the sentence smell positive, and without using 'not'

Basically they r the simple positive sentences..
