Age structure is the division of a population of a country into different groups.
For example:
1) 0-14 years age group = unproductive group
2) 15-64 years age group = productive group.
3) 65 years and the above age group = dependent group.
Yes, It reflects The working and non working population because the children under 14 years of group cannot do jobs it's against the law and the persons who are 65 years and the above age are not able to work because they are not capable by health. So, they are non working age group. 15-64 years age group are the only working group because they are capable from all angles like health.
