Agriculture fulfils the basic needs of the vast human population like food, shelter and clothing.

To improve the quality as well as quantity of the producer, many new techniques have been introduced in the field of agriculture. Better seeds, fertilizers, better methods of irrigation are some of the practices that have increased the harvest and brought more land under cultivation.

Seeds, manure, fertilizer, machinery and labour are the inputs in the system of agriculture. Crops, diary products, poultry products, fruits, silk and wool are some of the outputs of this system.
