aids is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome AIDS is caused by a virus called the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
If you get infected with HIV, your body will try to fight the infection.
It will make "antibodies," special immune molecules the body makes to fightHIV.
Being HIV-positive, or havingHIV disease, is not the same as havingAIDS.
it is caused by sexual contact with some person or by using already used in injections in our body or intake of HIV blood in our body

AIDS stands for Aquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome. It is caused by HIV (Human Immuno Virus). This virus spreads through infected needles and syringes. This virus attacks our immune system and completely destroy it. So our body can't fight even with smallest of diseases like common cold and it becomes a deadly disease.

Hope it helps:)
