Answer:

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a chronic, potentially life-threatening condition caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). By damaging your immune system, HIV interferes with your body's ability to fight infection and disease.

  1. AIDS is caused by a virus, that is HIV. It comes into the body through sexual organs or blood transferring.
  2. It is not merely caused by any physical contact like shaking hands, wrestling, hugging or by touching them.
  3. The first reason of spreading HIV is by sexual contact.
  4. The second reason by which it can spread is by blood transfusion.
  5. The third reason is, if an infected mother feeds milk to her baby, then the virus can transfer to the new born baby.
  6. This HIV damages the immune system and due to this the body cannot fight minor infections.
  7. In this case disease like cold can became severe pneumonia.
  8. The affect of the disease will became complex.
  9. At times, it also kills the people affected by HIV.
  10. As there is no symptoms and cure of the disease and later it results a complex disease, it is therefore known as a syndrome.
