Alankar is a figure of speech which means ornaments or adornments.Just like ornaments are used to enhance one's beauty,Alankaar is used to enhance the beauty of a poem in Hindi language.There are two main groups of alankar and they are-1.shabdaalankaar

Shabdaalankaar is divided into anupras,shlesh and yamak
& Arthaalankar is divided into upma,rupak and atishyokti.
