while closing a presentation or a document that has been not saved once since the last change you will get a message that message is known as alert message...

you will get the following three options in the message box:-

1. save.. the presentation is saved and then close..
2. cancel...nothing happens and you return to the presentation or document..
3. don't save..the presentation is close and all recent modifications are lost...
