Alien Hand Syndrome !

There's seriously a lot of strange names that scientists like to name diseases after.

This name has probably gotten you thinking of aliens.

But before you read on, take a mental note, that is not an ALIEN DISORDER.

Normally humans can control all their voluntary organs

This is a syndrome where the hands are not in control.

• In this case, the hand would have a will/desire of its own and the person would lose control of his own hand !

Sometimes, your arms move in a way you can't control, called a spasm, not alien disorder

• This syndrome is an extremely rare condition that occurs in patients who have had a serious case of brain injuries.

There's no cure apparently to cure this syndrome.

• Being a very extremely rare case that occurs in a population, scientists have not yet broadened into this idea.

Therapies can help cure alien hand syndrome but is an extremely long process, that might take several years to cure !
