The whole passage along which food passes through the body from mouth to anus during digestion is called alimentary canal.

Digestion of fats takes place in the small intestine with the help of bile juice which act as emulsifiers and break down the larger fat droplets into smaller ones. They are then acted upon by lipase enzyme found in pancreatic juice which convert them into monoglycerides and fatty acids.

TRYPSIN is the pancreatic enzyme which digests protein to form smaller peptides and amino acids.
