All these are poetic devices, used to bring out the beauty in any poem.To make you understand, i'll tell you about all these three poetic devices
simile is when we compare objects using the words 'like' or 'as'
metaphor is when we compare two objects without using the words 'like' or 'as'
alliteration is the repetition of initial consonant sounds.

Metaphor:-
a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Example:-
raining cats and dogs
Alliteration:-
Alliteration:-the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
Example:-
I need not your needs, They're needless to me.
