Answer:

alpha , beta and gamma are the zeros of a polynomial. in a quadratic we only use alpha and beta as ax^2 +bx +c has a and b thus they're said to be zeros. simply that says a and b are alpha and beta . similarly, cubic has gamma to as standard says ax^3 +bx^2 +cx +d .so here here variables a,b and c are alpha ,beta and gamma.

This is all!

hope it helped!
