✔️The term amino acid is short for α-amino [alpha-amino] carboxylic acid. Each molecule contains a central carbon (C) atom, called the α-carbon, to which both an amino and a carboxyl group are attached.

✔️The remaining two bonds of the α-carbon atom are generally satisfied by a hydrogen (H) atom and the R group.

✔️Protein plays a crucial role in almost all biological processes and amino acids are the building blocks of it.

✔️A large proportion of our cells, muscles and tissue is made up of amino acids, meaning they carry out many important bodily functions, such as giving cells their structure.

✔️Well, it depends on the amino acid. All amino acids consist of a carbon bonded to a hydrogen, an anime group and a carboxyl group, but it also has a variable 'R' group. What this is can range from just another hydrogen to far more complex structures, so we can't give a useful chemical formula for all amino acids.

✔️ Formula of amino acid is in above attachment .
