The process of Adsorption is usually studied through graphs know as adsorption isotherm. It is the graph between the amounts of adsorbate (x) adsorbed on the surface of adsorbent (m) and pressure at constant temperature. Different adsorption isotherms have been Freundlich, Langmuir and BET theory.

Answer:

Distinguish between Frundlich adsorp (i) Freundlich Adsorptio isotherm is applicable to all types of adsorption whereas Langmuir Adsorption isotherm is applicable mainly to chemical adsorption or chemisorption. (ii) Freundlich adsorption istherm fails at high pressure of the gas whereas Langmuir Adsorption isotherm can be applied under all pressures.
