An Allegory is to express an abstract idea like freedom, unity, greed, envy, liberty through a person or thing. An example is 'statue of liberty.' Here the statue of liberty represents freedom of people from oppression.
Similarly Statue of Unity recently inaugurated in India express the contribution of Sardar Vallabhai Patel in unifying India.
