Enzymes are of 2 types Simple and Conjugated. Simple type of enzymes consists of only protein part.

Conjugated protein are made up of 2 types- one is protein part and other is non - protein part.

Protein part is known as APOENZYME

Non protein part is known as CO- FACTOR

Co factors are further divided into 3 parts i) Co- enzymes

ii) Metal ion & iii) Prosthetic group
