HI

>> Archaebacteria is a diverse group of bacteria (prokaryotes), sometimes called the archaea and considered a major group unto themselves. Archaebacteria are a type of single-cell organism which are different from other modern life-forms. They are considered to be ancient life forms that evolved separately from bacteria and blue-green algae.

✨ Characteristics

⏺️Unique cell membrane chemistry.

⏺️Unique gene transcription.

⏺️Only archaebacteria are capable of methanogenesis – a form of anaerobic respiration that produces methane.

⏺️ Differences in ribosomal RNA that suggest they diverged from both Bacteria and Eukarya at a point in the distant past.

✨ Types

⏺️Crenarchaeota

⏺️Euryarchaeota

⏺️Korarchaeota

Hope it proved to be beneficial...
