Atomic clock is that type of clock which generally uses hyperfine  transition frequency in an electron transition frequency.

These clocks are built to get the exact length of  a second .This clock is much more efficient than counting.Through this clock we can get the exact precision.

In India it is kept in National Physical Laboratory of India New Delhi
