The upward force exerted by a fluid on an object immersed in it is called bouncy or bouant force.
Archimedes Principle says that when a body is immersed fully or partially in a fluid, it experiences an upward force that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaces by it.

BOUYANCY- the tendency of a liquid to exert an upward force on an object placed in it, is called "bouyancy".
the upward force acting on an object immersed in a liquid is called "bouyant force".
ARCHIMEDES' PRINCIPAL- according to Archimedes principal: when an object is wholly (or partially) immersed in a liquid, ot experiences a bouyant force which is equal to the weight of a liquid displayed by the object.
