YOUR QUESTION IS:-

What are the conditions neccessary for hearing an echo???

YOUR ANSWER IS:-

Echo is the reflected sound heard when original sound strikes a rigid object.

The two conditions for echo to be heard are:

1. The minimum distance between source and reflecting surface should be 17.2 m .

2. To hear a distinct echo, the interval between original and reflected sound must 0.1 second.Bats cannot see still they catch their prey as they produce ultrasound.
