Answer:

An Exothermic Reaction Is A Reaction In Which Heat Is Evolved.

For Example NaOH+HCl---> NaCl+H2O+Heat

An Endothermic Reaction Is A Reaction In Which Heat Is Absored

For Example

2Na2O (On Heating)------> 4Na+O2

An endothermic chemical reaction is a chemical reaction in which energy is absorbed in the form of heat, light or electricity. Usually, decomposition reactions are endothermic in nature. As energy is absorbed, stability decreases. So, in an endothermic reaction, the bonds between atoms of products are weaker than those between atoms of reactants.

eg - Decompostion of Calcium Carbonate:

CaCO3 + Heat = CaO + CO2
