Entropy is the amount of disorder in a substance or system or universe.
For gases we can say that it is the energy they have , as the more energy they have , the molecules go around in all directions. The entropy is proportional to the temperature, as temperature increases disorder increases.
When there is an exchange of heat across boundaries of a system to its environment or between two systems or bodies, then the entropy of each system changes. Entropy decreases when heat is released or given out.
